Baking & Bonding
An immersive baking experience for Black and Brown girls ages 6-12 years old. This mini-retreat infuses STEAM fractions and decimals used to interpret recipes. It includes a mini chef kit, an introduction to kitchen and appliance safety and lunch. This workshop is hosted annually and runs 4 hours long. This event hosts up to 20 youths.

Brading & Bonding
An immersive workshop for Black and Brown girls ages 6-12 years old. This mini-retreat infuses STEAM through hair braiding fundamentals and geometric braiding patterns. A mannequin head and styling tools are provided. This workshop is hosted annually and runs 4 hours long. This event hosts up to 20 youths.
Code Red
A pop-up workshop series for Black and Brown girls ages 6+ that introduces them to comprehensive reproductive and menstrual health education. Includes icebreakers, pop quizzes, games and lunch. These workshops are hosted during May and September for Period Poverty Awareness Week, Reproductive Health Month and Sexual Health Month in partnership with our strategic partners. These workshops run 4 hours long and are facilitated by Periodt! Peer educators. These workshops host between 5-20 participants.

Hot Horse Healing
A trauma-informed workshop for Black and Brown girls and young women ages 6+ that introduces human and horse emotional connections, grooming, stable care and more. Cowgirl swag and lunch provided. A special workshop offered during BAD Camp sessions. These workshops run 4 hours long. These workshops host between 5-20 participants.
What's The Tea?!
A mini retreat for Black and Brown girls ages 6-12 years old focused on etiquette wellness and ending with a tea party. Dress your best! Lunch and tiaras provided. An annual tea party event that runs 4 hours long. This event hosts up to 20 youths.

Trauma-Informed Trainings
A series of virtual trauma-informed workshops for youth ages 7 and up that focus on topics of friendship, healthy relationships, teen dating violence, consent, bystander prevention and more. These 60 minute long training sessions are offered during January, April and October for Stalking Awareness, Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. These workshops host between 5-20 participants.
Bromo Art Walk
This multi-block, multi-sensory night on the town showcases the Bromo Arts District in all its glory: open galleries, live performances, imaginative projects, and in-person engagement, all taking place on Thursday, May 15, from 5-9 p.m. Check out programming from over 30 creative organizations and 100+ artists during this self-guided tour of the district. The Bromo Art Walk is FREE and family-friendly. The main event runs from 5-9pm, but stick around for the after party at Current Space from 9-11pm.
