Dance Your Way Into Healing!
We're Turning Trauma Into Triumph
We're excited and honored to announce the launch of our new virtual, holistic dance therapy program. With an emphasis of making the voices of black women and women of color affected by sexual trauma heard, this free, PTSD program is available to women (and those who identify as women) and non binary friends who aren't cisgendered men. Brought to Baltimore in partnership with FORCE: upsetting rape culture, Ballet After Dark aims to bridge the gap between trauma experienced and safe spaces for survivors to heal. This work requires trust building within groups of people who work together.
Founded in 2010 and fiscally sponsored by Fusion Partnerships, FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture is a direct service organization that provides programming focused on youth leadership and development. FORCE provides unique direct service programming and projects available to survivors of sexual and domestic trauma, and advocacy resources for women and youth located in Baltimore City.
