Ballet After Dark Virtual Recital

About The Event
Ballet After Dark is the only program that provides trauma-informed, holistic dance therapy to survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. With a goal of helping survivors reprocess, rebuild and reclaim relationship with their bodies, we’re building a global community of support for survivors and creating spaces for women (and those who identify as women) to safely explore freedom of assembly and association following sexual and intimate trauma. Join us for this one day event celebrating a few of our program participants as they showcase ballet technique developed throughout the Ballet After Dark holistic dance therapy curriculum. Additionally featured will be dancers from the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institutes Dance Department and a screening of the short film, Ballet After Dark. This free, family-friendly event will offer the community a glimpse into some of the gentle and graceful practices we implement within our program that support the healing process of survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. Ballet After Dark relies on the generous support of our community to sustain this very necessary program. Consider making a donation today and support the following:
